Milkmaid Braids

Hello everyone! It's very rare for me to make an effort with my hair, but as I was rather bored (and procrastinating from revision) I decided to try out these 'Milkmaid Braids'. This hairstyle has been around for hundreds of years, but I've been seeing them around a lot lately.
They look complicated but literally took me 5 minutes to do!
Let me know if you guys want a tutorial :)

Enjoy!

Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express Mascara Review

Hello everyone! This product is a I have heard so much about, and was eventually persuaded to buy it. The Falsies Mascara by Maybelline has been a product that has been around for quite a while now, but I'd already been using Clinique High Impact Mascara (which is amazing too) and recently ran out of that and needed a cheaper alternative (£7.99), so I thought I'd give this mascara a go and I'm so glad I did!

Packaging:

  • Cute pink container
  • Good size
  • Good quality packaging

I purchased this mascara from Superdrug and there were quite a few different versions of the product. I picked up the black drama one because the brush was curved, meaning it would give the lashes a more curled look.

Durability
  • Lasts all day!
  • Keeps the curl in the lashes
Negatives
  • Throughout the day I noticed it transferred a bit to my lid
  • A bit flaky

Another feature I found that I love with this mascara, is how easy it is to reach the inner and outer corners of the lashes. The brush gets thinner towards the end which makes it so effortless to get flared lashes!

However I would not go as far to say that it looks like this...

but it is definitely buildable and can be used for a natural or more dramatic look, in the pictures above I only used 2 coats.

I will definitely be repurchasing!

(Disclamer - I purchased this product myself and have not been asked nor sent this product to review, all of these comments are my own views)

What would you like me to review next?

Evesham Vintage Fair

Hello everyone! So on Monday I went to the Evesham Vintage Fair, which I love and am an annual attender. It's full of live music and stalls full of vintage clothes and antiques, as well as lots of people dressing up! I thought I'd share with you guys a few pictures I took there :)
(I'm also going to another Vintage Fair in Worcester this Sunday
so stay tuned for that blogpost!)

Enjoy!

Here's what I wore :)

I didn't purchase any clothes on this occasion (gasp!) however
I did buy some vintage antiques.

The essential for any party! (don't tell mum though)

I found this amazing vintage photo book from 1950a Austria because
as a photographer enthusiast it was really inspiring!
